Oslo: Welcome to the capital of Norway!
Oslo is the largest city in Norway and has been the capital since 1814 following the dissolution of the union with Denmark. Oslo is also the departure city for our 13 day trip The Real Viking Experience.
Oslo is a beautiful capital to visit, especially during the summer time with all the parks that you find both in the city center and throughout the suburbs. By boat you can visit some great beaches in the Oslo fjord, in addition to several attractions in the city like the Royal Palace, the Opera House and the Vigeland sculpture park. As the capital and biggest city in Norway Oslo is a natural destination for both Norwegian and international travelers.
